Karma: wishlist, coupon and cashback, not a shopping agent

Karma: wishlist, coupon and cashback, not a shopping agent

August 19, 2026

This profile uses the slogan "Shop better with the power of AI". Surface: browser extension. Autonomy: checkout assistant. Payment: buyer's card. It nonetheless adds the checkout automation tag, plus product search, price, deals, coupons, wishlist, alerts. Regions: United States, United Kingdom, European Union, and global on the same card. For the operator, this is already more honest than the title: it is not a merchant software. It is a demand-side wishlist extension. It changes conversion timing, discount exposure, and attribution. Targeted readers: affiliate and performance. No Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV), no last-click rate, no price alert rate. Neither does this article. Putting Karma into an "AI shopping agent" indicator means budgeting for a UPC rail that Karma does not document, or a coupon that you have already published.

Karma Shopping Ltd. sells an extension plus an app on karmanow.com: wishlist, price alert, checkout coupon. Copyright 2026, under the name Karma. 6.5 million users, 13 million coupons applied, 80 million items saved, $482 average savings per year, $126 average cashback, $260 million total savings, $5 sign-up bonus: issuer's figures. Footer: possible commission on purchases via their links or coupons. Karma's Chrome Web Store page (updated July 23, 2026): 400,000 Chrome users, price comparison, drop and restock alerts, wishlists, cashback on thousands of retailers, "smart AI" (AI scanning codes). Same affiliate phrase as Honey, cashback version: merchants may pay commissions, shared with users. Two texts. One logo in the agent directory. Not UPC. Not ACP. Not a prize list against Honey.

If the idea of a software buyer is new: what agentic commerce is. The 2026 calendar: what was delivered. The other profiles: AI shopping agents. Official totals remain human shopping journeys: 2026 e-commerce statistics.

Partners for cashback and "supported merchants" URLs (store)

Amazon, Target, Nordstrom, ASOS, Apple, SSENSE, Farfetch, Macy’s, Nike. United States, United Kingdom, European Union, worldwide

You do not install Karma in your admin panel. A buyer installs it. If they save your product page, your price is tracked. If they pay, a code and a last click may move. Reading "AI shopping assistant" like Gemini via the UCP or ChatGPT via the ACP, no. Karmanow and the store name neither protocol, nor REST session, nor Merchant Center.

United States plus United Kingdom plus European Union plus worldwide: four badges for a single product. Our homepage does not publish this map. We are not inventing a global Magento parity. The listed stores are directory examples, not an audit of cashback partners.

A merchant who "chooses Karma" like a payment provider has read the agent filter. You hold a price, a stock, a promo engine, an affiliate network. Framework: what platforms must change.

Filters (price, deals, search, checkout tunnel) are buyer behaviors, not four different Karma references: task-based shopping agents.

Karmanow 2026: buy later, then a code

The 2026 homepage tells of a delay, then a coupon. This is not a checkout rail.

  • Save for later: browser extension, articles in the same place, "buy more consciously". For you: an addition to the wish list outside your customer account. Conversion may decrease. The directory speaks of repurchase windows. We do not have an average delay.

  • Buy at the right time: tracking price drops and back-in-stock. Your flash sale and your restocking become a Karma notification, not just an email you sent.

  • Automatic coupon: Karma finds and applies the best coupon. Marketing. Not an audit of your code stack. Not the UCP.

The mobile application adds a layer missing from the extension, says the homepage: comparing credit card rewards to choose which one to stick to the funnel. This is not Klarna (payment schedule). This is not your payment provider. Do not put it in the same procedure as the promo field.

The homepage totals (6.5 million users, 13 million coupons, 80 million articles, 482 and 126 dollars, 260 million in savings, 5 dollars welcome) are issuer claims, with a bonus subject to their T&Cs. We cite them as such. This is not your cannibalization rate. This is not gross merchandise volume (GMV). Vocabulary: glossary of agentic commerce.

The footer is the merchant paragraph: promotions according to partner conditions, commission possible via links or coupons. Same family as Honey, another company (Karma Shopping Ltd., not PayPal). Do not recycle 482 dollars as an average cart size for your shop.

"Shop better with the power of AI" is the main headline. There is no named model, no Mixture-of-Agents, no Google waitlist on this page. AI here is a slogan, and further on a code scan on the store.

The Chrome Store, July 2026: cashback and "smart AI"

On July 23, 2026, the Chrome listing (version 10.94.0.22011) details what the homepage summarizes. 400,000 Chrome users, not 6.5 million. Two scopes: Chrome installations and users "across all their devices" on the homepage side. Two snapshots. Not proof that your Karma traffic has increased.

Commissions: merchants can pay affiliation fees. Karma shares this as cashback. Honey shares it as PayPal Rewards. Same declared mechanics, different branding. Enough for an affiliate owner: possible last click to a partner you did not recruit. Ask the network if Karma or karmanow appears. We do not publish measured theft. We do not write about how a cookie gets overwritten.

The store limits access to the URL of the current page to identify a supported merchant and activate cashback, coupons, comparison, and saving. "We do not collect browsing history". It still declares personal data, location, and site content. Operator interpretation: at the checkout funnel, the page can still be read as content. This is not a headless browser in a data center. This is the buyer's Chrome. Logs: what needs to be logged.

Price comparison "from multiple stores": store phrase. Without identifiers and parity, matching is invented. Merchant side: price comparison, what a machine needs to compare. A Honey Droplist is not this comparison. Neither is a Google Knowledge panel.

"Smart AI scans for promo codes and automatically applies the best ones": this is the only place, in our two URLs, where AI is a mechanism (codes), not just a title. This is not a specification for looking up reviews or making adjustments. Step 5 of the directory ("ask the AI for help") goes further than the store. Treat it as a directory user guide, not as a product FAQ sourced here. Search, if you are maintaining fields: product search.

Cashback: "thousands of stores". Coupons: supported merchants. The directory says coupons on partner sites, prices on any supported merchant. Two circles. A Karma word. Do not budget cashback on a retailer that is only on the wishlist.

Two moments at your place: the saved card, the promo field

Two e-commerce moments, not one.

  • The saved product page: price and stock become a third-party alert. A drop you made for paid traffic also wakes up the Karma wishlist. Conversion timing, says the directory. We do not have the elasticity.

  • The promo field: the tested code, you have often already published it. Karma does not negotiate. It recycles, then can apply an affiliate cashback. Cannibalization plus last click. Same JavaScript family as Honey, another marketing button (automatic application, versus Apply Coupons at PayPal).

  • The buyer's card: Karma does not collect payment. Checkout assistance. The card automation label is stronger than autonomy. Neither karmanow nor the store describes a human-free payment. Do not read it as a Gemini automatic purchase.

Checkout, directory side: agents for the payment checkout. Here the mechanism is a coupon plus, sometimes, an affiliate referrer, not a Google session. The pixel sees a Chrome browser. The order system will not say "Karma order" without a label.

Bargains: bargain hunting. A Gemini Direct Offer is not a wishlist alert. A Karma code is not an ad auction. Two different profit and loss accounts.

Theme: a Shopify storefront readable by an LLM. Useful if an assistant (step 5, or Claude) reads the product page. For the coupon, the search engine field matters more than the JPEG header visual. Click family on your payment checkout: Claude, Genspark.

3-D Secure: the human is in their Chrome browser or app. The risk is not a challenge in a headless browser. It is an undue discount, a delayed purchase, a last click. Separate the procedures.

Klarna

Payment schedule, other listing

Payment method. Not a price tracker

A pitch like "we put you in Karma" can sell a code audit, an affiliate label, price parity, or a directory listing. Four deliverables. One word. Ask which one.

Honey and Karma are the same JavaScript funnel family. PayPal and Karma Shopping Ltd. Rewards and cashback. Apply Coupons documented at PayPal, automatic marketing application at Karma. Do not merge them into a single affiliate partner without checking the network. Named rails: how protocols differ.

After a code or an alert, the dispute remains yours. Karma did not collect the payment. Reason codes: where agentic commerce still breaks down.

The card comparison tool (app only) is not a purchasing agent. Do not link it to the UCP. It is payment method advice on the buyer side, outside of your administration interface.

What this sheet does not measure

This sheet does not measure anything that matters for a discount or a delay.

  • Coupon incrementality: 13 million coupons applied is a homepage cumulative figure. Not your rate of codes that the customer would not have had.

  • Wishlist delay: 80 million items saved is not a number of days before purchase on your reference.

  • Affiliation: the commission phrase exists (homepage and store). The last-click overwrite rate does not.

  • Coverage: brands: examples. United States, United Kingdom, European Union, and global: badges. 400,000 Chrome and 6.5 million users: two claims.

Do not budget Karma as a channel with a known cost-per-acquisition. We do not publish any. A Verified sheet does not buy a cashback tier, nor a spot in the "thousands of stores".

$482 in average savings and $126 in cashback: issuer averages. Buyer superlatives. Not your basket. $5 welcome bonus: user acquisition, T&Cs section 5, not a merchant program documented here.

Tunnel automation on the card is not a volume of autonomous orders. Tunnel assistance and the buyer's card are on the same sheet. We keep the human in the payment process.

Three gestures, not a Karma channel

This week, by mechanism, not by logo.

  • Price and stock: parity between product page and feed. A Karma alert on a dead price is an after-sales service. Test: save five references, see if an in-house drop triggers a logic you own.

  • Promo and affiliation: codes in the engine. Test a funnel with the extension. Ask the network if Karma appears. Tag. A public code "SAVE10" will be recycled. A unique code, less so.

  • Internal naming: ban the "Karma agent" slide without saying: wishlist plus coupon plus cashback. Separate Honey (PayPal), Direct Offers (advertising), Genspark (headless browser).

The single test: would this work still be useful if Karma closed tomorrow and Honey remained? A clean promo engine, price parity, and an affiliate tag, yes. An exclusive Karma connector, no.

Name the owners: merchandising or pricing for alerts, promo for codes, affiliation for the last click, storefront if the JavaScript breaks. A single "Karma owner" stops at the first silo.

If you only have one hour: open a real funnel with the extension (or have it done). Note coupon and cashback. Save a product page. Cross-reference the code with your public list. Then stop reading the sheet.

You don't turn Karma on like a channel

You don't turn on Karma like a channel. Buyers install an extension or an app, or they don't. You hold a price, codes, a checkout funnel. Badges are not buttons.

If a seller promises to place you "in Karma", ask for: a code audit, an affiliate tag, price parity, a cashback partnership, or a directory listing. Five deliverables. One word.

UCP and ACP are chosen elsewhere, if the mechanism is a mandate. For Karma, the protocol is already your funnel, plus a wishlist delay. Postponing the rail is not postponing a public code, nor an unmeasured last click.

After the click, it's your discount, your after-sales service, your 3-D Secure. The directory did not collect the payment. Do not attribute a size return to it. Do not attribute a commission to it that your network did not see.

A delay and delivery index, not a ranking

Karma is fragmented in the directory: price, good deals, search, checkout funnel, automation. Karmanow sells an extension plus an app plus average savings. The store adds AI on top of codes and affiliate cashback. Three narratives. One coupon field. This sheet is a starting point: delay and discount first, not a purchase track.

Treat it like an index: which artifact hits (price alert or coupon JavaScript), where payment takes place (your checkout funnel), which code is public. Three questions. Not a leaderboard of extensions.

You can ignore Karma and still keep Honey. You can block coupon extensions and allow price alerts. The directory does not decide. Your promo engine and your network, however, do.

Next, open Honey (same coupon family) and Gemini (advertising or UCP family). Establish the contract, not the AI badge.

The price, code, and last click first

The owner is not "Karma growth." It is price plus promo plus affiliation. A single owner mixes 6.5 million users and a newsletter code.

Buyers, if there are any, come according to their extension bar, not according to the directory. You do not light up seven capabilities. You hold prices that you assume will be tracked, and codes that you assume will be recycled.

If the committee wants a figure: there is none here for your margin. 400,000 Chrome users is not Gross Merchandise Value (GMV). 260 million homepage savings is not your addressable market. A channel is budgeted on tagged orders, not on an AI slogan.

The test of the following week: a saved product sheet, an alert or not, a funnel, a code, a referrer. If you don't have that, you don't have a channel. You have a sheet.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Karma an AI buying agent?

In the directory, it is classified as such. On karmanow.com, AI is a slogan. On the store, it is a code scan. Neither of the two cited texts describes the UCP, the ACP, or a mandate. The agentic classification is editorial.

Does it check out on its own?

The listing mentions checkout assistance and the buyer's card, plus an automation tag. Karmanow and the store describe an automatic coupon, not a human-less payment. We do not read it as a Gemini-like automatic purchase.

Is Karma like Honey?

Same family: extension, coupon, declared affiliation, JavaScript on your checkout funnel. PayPal and Karma Shopping Ltd. Rewards and cashback. Honey does not have, in our Honey sources, the same wishlist and restock narrative. Do not merge them in a slide, nor in a single affiliate ID, without verifying.

Does the 6.5 million users mean my traffic?

This is a homepage claim. The Chrome store shows 400,000 users. Neither of these is your share of funnels. Nor is it an audit of the brands listed on the map.

Should Karma be whitelisted in the web application firewall?

It is the customer's Chrome or app, not a headless browser in a data center. Blocking the extension is an experience or promo fraud decision, not an Operator whitelist. Test it. No button in the directory.

What to do this week?

Price and stock parity. Codes in the engine. Funnel test. Affiliate tag. Separate wishlist (delay) and coupon (margin). Do not budget $482 in average savings. Postpone the UCP: it is not the subject.

Is the step 5 AI documented?

In the directory, yes. In the cited karmanow and store, the coupon AI is a store phrase. The "ask the AI" search and comparison are not specified there. We do not source it beyond the directory.
