Adad: a Hindi generator, not Magic, not Ada

Adad: a Hindi generator, not Magic, not Ada

August 19, 2026

"Adad Review: Hindi AI Product Description Generator" describes a generator of descriptions and ad copy in Hindi, for Indian direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands and marketplace sellers, without the need for a local copywriter. Real-time output, built-in translator from English, mobile-friendly without a computer. Target audience: small merchants on Flipkart, Meesho, Amazon India, Hindi-first buyers from Tier 2 / 3 cities. Badge: freemium, from $0 / mo. Directory pitch: Hindi-first generation, not English then a translation, for sellers underserved by global tools. What it does: Hindi descriptions "natively rather than post-hoc machine translation"; ad copy variations for listings and social networks; translate from English via the built-in tool; mobile app; real-time, freemium tiers. Unique use case: product description at scale. Features: descriptions, ad copy, native Hindi, real-time, built-in translation, simple interface, cost-effective, time efficient, mobile. "1 shared" alternatives: Merchant Floor, TextBrew, RewriteSomething, LeadScripts, Seenapse, Botowski. No Gross Merchandise Value (GMV). No Flipkart conversion rate. No Shopify audit. Neither is this article. Putting Adad into an "AI store app" indicator is budgeting for Sidekick, or the wrong Ada (customer support). It's not that. It's a whoCodes landing page: a product name, Generate, then an English-to-Hindi translation.

The Adad page on whoCodes fits into three bullet points: Fast, type the product name and Generate; Easy, flat interface, "sole purpose of the app"; Real-time, "Translate the generated product description from English to Hindi". Three sentences. Not Flipkart. Not Meesho. Not mobile. No API. No $0 tier. The "Generate" in this workflow produces a description that is then translated. This contradicts the Hindi-first directory badge. The App Store Magic descriptions listing says "Included with Shopify": free AI descriptions in the admin panel, no apps required, keywords, tone, drafts before publishing. Yes: descriptions, blog posts, AI generation, tone. No: titles, SEO titles / descriptions, alt text, images, videos, tags, variants, collections, FAQs, social media, reviews, structured data, bulk editing, import/export, multiple languages, translation. To translate: Translate & Adapt, says Shopify, not Magic. The Adad App Store: 404. Two texts. One logo in the index. Not UCP. Not ACP. Not the Ada for customer support.

If the idea of a software buyer is new: what agentic commerce is. The 2026 calendar: what has been delivered. Shopping surfaces: AI shopping agents. Official totals remain human funnels: e-commerce statistics 2026.

Summary

Two Adas, one description filter, zero App Store

Adad, by whoCodes, is a Hindi text micro-tool. The directory puts it in the same bucket as Magic and 79 other generators. It is not the same agreement. Nor is it Ada the customer support agent.

The listing is correct about the gap: Hindi for product listings, not a purchasing LLM. The listing is wrong if "Hindi first" erases whoCodes' real-time feature (translating the generated description). The two directory phrases "natively" and "Translates English source copy" already coexist. whoCodes only keeps the second one. Tool framework: what platforms need to change. Adad does not change the workflow, the application firewall, or the payment funnel. It outputs a paragraph.

Magic / Sidekick: listing. If you are on Shopify and the gap is an HTML body in English, you already have it. If the gap is Hindi, Magic checks Multi-language No and Translation No, and points to Translate & Adapt. Adad is not that app. Vocabulary (workflow, product page, not mandate): agentic commerce glossary. Gemini / UCP and ChatGPT / ACP do not write your Meesho listings.

whoCodes: Generate, then translate, not a Hindi PIM

The Adad page is short. That is enough to kill the misunderstanding "we are installing a Hindi Shopify app".

  • Fast: type the product name, Generate. No GTIN, no variant, no feed attributes. One name. One button. If the name is "cotton kurta M", the machine invents the rest. This is not your PIM.

  • Easy: flat interface, sole purpose. This is not an integration platform. No visual operations dashboard. One button.

  • Real-time: translate the generated description from English to Hindi. So: one pass in English, one pass in Hindi. The directory badge "rather than post-hoc machine translation" is stronger than this bullet point. Keep whoCodes. Treat Hindi first as a directory item as long as the interface does not generate in Hindi first.

Flipkart, Meesho, Amazon India, tier 2 / 3 cities: directory target. Absent from whoCodes. Not a marketplace connector. You copy-paste. A poorly pasted product sheet does not enter the machine catalog. What a machine needs to compare remains the GTIN, the price, the stock. Adad is not there. CSV if your source of truth is an export: CSV-first. A readable storefront: another door, and especially English-speaking / structured data, not a Hindi paragraph pasted as an image.

Mobile application: directory function. whoCodes does not show it. Play Store / App Store under a whoCodes.adad identifier: 404 here. Treat mobile as a directory. Desktop landing page, that's all we cite.

Ad copy, social campaigns: directory. whoCodes says product description. The App Store Magic sheet checks Social media posts: Not supported. Two advertising holes. Neither Adad nor Magic is a studio for that. Ad terms, another drawer: advertising terms. The 79-card filter: Shopify AI apps is not even Adad's tag (only one use case: descriptions). All the better. Don't invent it.

$0 / month, schema.org price 0. whoCodes: no pricing. Directory freemium. Softpas and other mirrors invent 50 sheets / month and a Shopify API: outside of our two URLs. Do not sign them.

Magic: free, narrow, and Hindi is not included

If you sell on Shopify, read Magic before Adad. Included with Shopify. Use directly in admin. Free AI-generated product descriptions, no apps required. Predefined or custom tone. As many versions as needed.

Shopify also says that other content apps can offer other types and SEO. That is the sentence of the 79 generators. Adad, however, is not in the App Store (404 on /adad). You do not install Adad like Elliott. You open whoCodes in a tab.

Useful crosses here:

  • Yes Magic: product descriptions. Blog posts. AI generation. Tone.

  • No Magic: titles, SEO title / description, alt text, images, videos, tags, variants, collection descriptions, FAQ, social media, reviews, structured data, bulk editing, import/export, auto-updates, scheduling, multiple languages, translation.

For Hindi on Shopify, the Magic listing does not point to Adad. It points to Translate & Adapt, "translate your product descriptions into additional languages". Two Shopify products. One whoCodes generator on the side. Three paths. One word "Hindi AI". Ask which one. Translate & Adapt is not in our links; it is the sentence from the quoted Magic listing.

Visibility in AI engines: a Hindi paragraph does not trigger Merchant Center. AI visibility tools is another drawer. A buyer agent reading the feed often ignores the marketing body. Rails: how protocols differ. Absent from whoCodes.

RewriteSomething, TextBrew, Merchant Floor: 1 shared descriptions. It is not 1 Hindi clone. Seenapse is ideas. LeadScripts is lead generation. The filter poured, as usual.

At home: a paragraph, not a channel

At your end, Adad does not place a shop pixel. Three possible elements, none is an Agentic Storefronts button.

  • The text: a Hindi body (and, says the directory, ads). You paste it into Flipkart / Meesho / Amazon / a theme. If the product name was poor, the text is poor but more fluid.

  • The translation pass: whoCodes. English then Hindi. Proofread. Machine Hindi is not a Kanpur speaker. No quality rate here.

  • The copy-paste: no App Store. No API in our URLs. The execution environment is your clipboard.

After a Hindi listing that promises a wrong size or material, the return is yours, from the marketplace, from the customer. Adad is not the seller of the operation. Agent purchase breakages (misread SKU): where agentic commerce still breaks. Another layer. Here, the breakage is a lying Hindi product listing.

A buyer LLM on Amazon India reads Rufus / the marketplace listing, not whoCodes. You hold the listing. Adad is not Rufus.

Cost-effective, time efficient: card slogans. whoCodes says time-efficient in the title. Call to action. Not a total cost of ownership. $0 is not a volume service commitment.

No Magic, no Ada SAV, no UCP

Do not merge the logos. Especially not Ada and Adad.

Flows, payment funnel. Out of scope

A pitch like "we give you e-commerce Hindi AI" can sell Adad (whoCodes), Translate & Adapt, a copywriter, English Magic, or a directory listing. Five deliverables. One word. Our two URLs only document Generate plus translation, and narrow English Magic.

Parent listing: AI applications index. Product description at scale is the only stuck use case. This is not 79 audits. This is not a Hindi ranking.

What this sheet does not measure

This sheet does not measure anything that matters after Generate.

  • Price: from $0 is from the directory. whoCodes has no pricing grid. Magic is in the Shopify plan.

  • Hindi-first vs. translation: directory vs. Real-time whoCodes chip. Two narratives.

  • Marketplaces: Flipkart / Meesho / Amazon IN, directory target. Not APIs.

  • Mobile: directory feature. 404 on the app stores under the tested ID. whoCodes silent.

  • Linguistic quality / Hindi SEO / Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV): absent. Time-efficient is a title.

  • 1 shared equivalence: not six clones. Seenapse is not Hindi.

Do not budget Adad as an agent channel. We do not publish them. A $0 listing does not buy a speaker, nor a GTIN.

"Native Hindi Support", "culturally relevant" on other mirrors: out of scope. Here: Generate, translate, Magic No on translation.

Three tickets, not a Hindi filter

This week, by text gap, not by Ada homonym.

  • Where do product sheets live?: Shopify: Magic then Translate & Adapt, says the App Store. India Marketplaces: Flipkart / Meesho / Amazon back-office, clipboard. Adad is not in any mentioned App Store.

  • Hindi first or English then Hindi?: open whoCodes. If the interface translates after Generate, the directory badge is a slogan.

  • Who proofreads?: a spoken Hindi speaker, not an "Adad AI application" owner. Generate is not cultural validation.

The single test: would this work still be useful if the index removed Adad tomorrow? A Hindi proofreading process, yes. An exclusive connector "Adad = Shopify AI application", no. 404.

Name the owners: merchandising / content for the text, a native speaker for proofreading, marketplace operations for pasting, not a Slack that mixes Ada the customer service and Adad the generator.

If you only have one hour: the three whoCodes bullet points, the Non Magic (multiple languages, translation, social networks, bulk editing), the five directory bullet points. The three lists do not overlap. Do not follow $0 as a framework. Do not follow Hindi first as a specification if Real-time says translate.

You do not light Adad like a channel

You do not turn on Adad within Shopify sales channels. You open whoCodes, you generate, you paste. Shopify AI badges are not buttons. There is no Adad app to install (404).

If a seller promises to place you "in Hindi e-commerce AI", ask for: whoCodes Generate, Translate & Adapt, English Magic, copywriter, or directory listing. Five deliverables. One word. Our two URLs only document Generate plus translation, and narrow Magic.

UCP and ACP are chosen elsewhere. Carrying over a rail is not the same as carrying over a Hindi product sheet that invents the paper weight. Carrying over Adad is not the same as carrying over Merchant Center.

After Generate, it is your sheet, your place, your customer. The directory did not translate. Do not attribute a Meesho gross merchandise value (GMV) to it.

A Hindi text index, not a boutique app chart

Adad is fragmented: three whoCodes bullets, Hindi directory entry first plus Flipkart plus mobile plus $0, Magic refusing translation, Ada SAV namesake. This entry is a starting point: paragraph generator first, shop tags second, not a Shopify app, not a buying agent.

Treat it as an index: which element (text, translation, clipboard), who reviews (a Hindi speaker), what proof (Real-time bullet versus Hindi-first badge). Three questions. Not an internationalization track record.

You can ignore Adad and keep Translate & Adapt, a copywriter, or English Magic. You can open it for a product name and refuse ads. The directory does not decide. Your review does.

Next, open Magic (English text) and buying agents (UCP / ACP). Establish the contract, not the Ada / Adad slug.

The sheet and proofreading first, the logo next

The owner is not "growth, AI app". It is merchandising plus a Hindi speaker. A single owner mixes Ada support and a Generate whoCodes.

Buyers see the marketplace listing or the product sheet. Not Adad. You do not turn on UCP. You hold a text that you assume, pasted where the marketplace accepts it.

If the committee wants a figure: there is none here. $0 is not gross merchandise value (GMV). 1 shared is not six installations. Time-efficient is not an hour. A tool is budgeted on a channel (Shopify versus India marketplace) and a proofreading, not on a native Hindi slogan.

The test of the following week: a named channel (Shopify administration or marketplace back-office), a Magic versus whoCodes versus copywriter question, a proofreading by a speaker. If you don't have that, you don't have a boutique AI app. You have a three-bullet-point sheet.
